    School Meal Initiatives

We provide nutritious meals in schools, ensuring that children receive the energy they need to learn, concentrate in school and grow. This initiative not only combats hunger but also promotes education attendance. By nourishing young minds, we empower them to dream bigger and strive for a brighter future. We serve the children with a balanced meal which consists of carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins from vegitables. On daily basis we offer Nshima its made in cake form, made out of corn powder called mealie meal. This is served with any kind of protein foods be it vegetable or meat proteins and this also goes with vegetables where vitamins are gotten from to make a balanced diet. In place of Nshima we sometimes serve Rice or Potatoes. Most Zambians prefer Nshima as its the staple food to Rce or Potatoes because its more filling and sustains a person for the entire day if they dont have anything else to eat and even the children in schools prefer Nshima.
